About Us

Kimberly Lacrosse, established in 2016 through collaboration with Appleton United Lacrosse, originated when players from the Kimberly school district teamed up with Appleton United to nurture the growth of the game. The formation of the Kimberly Area Lacrosse Association was made possible by dedicated parents who played pivotal roles in this initiative. Boys and girls from the district joined forces to establish teams across various age groups, with some age categories boasting enough players to support the formation of two teams.

In its inaugural year, Kimberly's lacrosse program launched its first Junior Varsity program, showcasing commendable performance with victories in several games. Subsequently, in 2017, the program expanded to introduce its first Varsity team, featuring sufficient player participation to also field a Junior Varsity team.

Over the past seven years, lacrosse has witnessed continual growth in both the district and the surrounding area. The Kimberly Youth program has risen to prominence as one of the premier programs in the conference. The high school team has achieved success in playoffs, and there is excitement for the forthcoming arrival of Lawrence University Lacrosse to the area in 2025.

In 2024, we joyfully commemorate Lacrosse's inclusion as a member of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association! We express gratitude to the Kimberly Area School District for their steadfast support and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to foster the personal development of our students, enabling them to become exemplary individuals and valuable contributors to our community.
